New Beads

Finally new beads!! I hope you guys like them! The sets of 6 beads took longer to make than I originally thought they would, which is why they are priced more than my set of 6 disks...if you would like them in a different color, just let me know. I will be making more of these today!!!

Whew.....it's been busy

Holy Cow has it been busy!!! I feel like I am just treading water here :( Well....here are a few beads just to let you all know that I have not fallen off the face of the earth! My first week back at work has been incredibly busy...not to mention school started this week and we have all been adjusting to that! I hope all of you are doing well! I promise to get back to the torch again at a regular basis! I have sooooo many people emailing me about orders they want (which is WONDERFUL)...I promise to get to work on all of those and hopefully have new stuff up too! Here is a set of 3 Abstract "O"s (a custom order) and a set of some funky disks! Thanks for checking in (and hanging in there with me)!!!

I'm Back!

We had such a wonderful time in beautiful Mexico!!! We met my mom and dad there and celebrated Hailey's Birthday!! I am back at the torch and making new beads....will hopefully have them posted tomorrow on the next day, depending on if I can get them photographed :)

Happy Birthday BABY!!!

On Vacation

I will be out of town from Wednesday August 20th until late Sunday August 24th. All items purchased after Tuesday will be shipped first thing Monday when I get back!

I am taking my Birthday girl to Mexico for a quick get away with my family! My parents are meeting us down there and it ought to be alot of fun!

I will get back to work on Monday when I get back and have a new batch of beads up hopefully by Monday evening (then I have to go back to my "real" job on Tuesday).

I hope everyone has a great rest of the week and weekend. I might be able to get on the internet there...if I do, I will send out a hello!

Kristen, take care of yourself and I will definitely have a margarita (or two) just for you!

I'm Still Here :)

I have been working on orders this morning (despite how beautiful it is outside) :) :)

I was really hoping to jump right back in to bead making since my Echo boards are finally over (yay), but I have really been slacking :( I think I really needed the mental break and am glad to say that it felt really good sitting at the torch today! I will hopefully have those orders and a few additional items posted this evening as soon as the kiln cools down and I get some pictures of the new beads. I only worked with boro today, so the orders for the wine stoppers have not been completed yet, but I am hoping to make those beauties tonight!

A quick update on my plans for the coming week.
My sweet little munchkin, Hailey is coming home tomorrow from her fun summer vacation with grandma!!! We are running away to Mexico on Wednesday for her Birthday (big # 11) and we will be back next Sunday. (I know, I know....I finally get back into making beads and now I'm running off to lay on the beach for 5 days.....again...hang in here with me please :) :))
All orders placed after Tuesday will be shipped out on Monday the 24th!! Just think of the fabulous inspiration I will get from that fun Mexican atmosphere and beautiful Caribbean water :) :)

Back on Track!

Well, I am FINALLY finished with my exams for my Cardiac Sonographer Registry!!!!! Yay!!! This means I can focus once again on making beads!!! It has been a really intense and stressful couple of weeks for me while I prepared for these exams. I am so relieved and excited that they are over!!
I am so sorry for my absence and the lack of new beads. Thank you for hanging in here with me!!!
We are out of town this weekend, but starting Monday I will be back on track with new and fun Sassy Beads!!!

Has it really been a week?

So sorry I have been missing in action for an entire week! I did manage to make a few beads this morning and have posted them here. I made it through the first test last week and I have one more coming up this next week, so bear with me. I am supposed to be studying right now, but can't seem to muster up the energy or discipline to get my booty in gear....so instead I will share my latest beads with you! I am hoping to get to the torch again either tonight or tomorrow! I promise to post again soon....just one more week and this will all be behind me!
