Biker Beads and Motorcycle Mama's

Well, here is one of the reasons I have been neglecting my blog... You see, the weather here is finally starting to feel like Spring and just over a month ago Scott and I went out and got motorcycles. I have not mentioned it before because I am still letting my parents get used to the idea :) :) I love you mom and dad :) :) Don't they look like fun??? I am going to have to start making Biker Beads now ~ LOL!!!

I have been making beads...It was a busy busy etsy weekend for me (thank you to all of my wonderful and loyal customers). I have a few new goodies up and promise to have more up very soon! The other thing that has been occupying my time is my preparation for the Echocardiography boards!!! Aaaahhh...they are making me crazier than I already am. I promise, in the near future all of these extra stressors will be gone and I can focus on making beads almost daily again :) Thanks for your support and patience :)

Back to Boro

All right, well due to the astounding lack of feedback on my soft glass beads I am back to making those alluring boro beads ! YEAH! :) I have to agree...the soft glass just isn't as magical! I made 6 matching pairs that would be perfect for just about anything :) I will be making more beads tonight too, so hopefully will have those goodies up tomorrow!
I am also thinking about having another sale or possibly a day or 2 of FREE shipping....hmmmm you will have to keep your eye out for that :)

A New Shape!!!

How do you feel about abstract cones? I was admiring the stash of beads that Kristen of MJM Jewelry Designs got while at a bead fest and could not resist the cone shaped beads she got!! I just had to try out the shape! Let me know what you think!




Of course I had to add colorful bumps! They would not be Sassy beads without some texture!!!






They would be great for earring pairs or spectacular on their own as focals......

She's Alive!

Oh my goodness, has it already been more than a week? I am terrible at this...ok will push on. It has been a busy busy week, but unfortunately not because I have made hundreds of beads....I am getting back in gear and really glad to finally get back at the torch. Also, tomorrow I will have the house all to myself (I have the day off work - YEAH) and will spend all morning making new goodies!!!

Here is what I did accomplish in the past several days though...



Here is the stash from a bead making session! I just love beads...I love the way they feel in your hands and I love all the different colors you can achieve....I'm obsessed.....I think that is ONE reason why I am called CBL here at my house ....(Crazy Bead Lady)





I just love these rings....they would also make great sliders!





Disks....great colors and textures...I never get tired of disks. They are so versatile!
