Merry Christmas!!

I am so sorry I have been "MIA" for the last several weeks!! It has been busy here, but I wanted to update everyone. I have not been at the torch now for over 2 weeks!!! I took a break and did not even realize it :) but I hope to be back at it by the weekend...
I decided to cancel my website.....I have a wonderful customer base here locally and I know you guys like to browse the site, but it's really not worth paying the monthly fees since I do not sell much through the site....you guys would rather catch me in person and really that works well, so why "fix" it right? I will still keep using etsy for my bead sets....just have to actually get to the torch and make new bead sets!! It's on my "to do" list, I promise :)

I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday and Happy New Year...we are really looking forward to 2009!!!

Today is Connie Sue's (AKA Nannie) Birthday!!!! Happy Birthday Mom!!! Wish we were there to celebrate with you! Like fine wine, your getting better with age :) We love you!!!

Still here....

I'm still here :) It has been a busy week! Hailey had 3 teeth pulled yesterday (making room for braces). Poor baby....she's looking a little puny :(

I had a huge order of Sterling Silver stolen off my front porch this week :( I was pretty sick about it on Tuesday, but have chocked it up to a "loss" and am moving on!) I have also talked with UPS and made it very clear to them that NOTHING is to be left at my house if no one is home. I would rather the inconvenience of going there to pick up my packages.
I made a bunch of beads last night preparing for tonights show....I am hoping to get more made early this morning.
I will post pictures of this evening!!

I'm Stuffed :)

Here are a few beads I have been working on....This holiday week has been really busy! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving...I can't believe tomorrow is the first of December! I am no where near ready for Christmas!
I have one more bead show before the end of the year. I am having an open house this Friday, December 5th!! If you in the area be sure to stop by! I will be having a few specials too so you wont want to miss it!
I have listed a few earring pairs on etsy and a set of 6 brown and green beads!!! Let me know what you think!

Finally.....daylight :)

I finally was able to take pictures this morning!!! With the time change it is dark when I leave and dark when I get home so I have not been able to take pictures during the week! Here is a set I made for Kristen's mom and then an assortment of my bracelet beads. I am in the process right now of adding 30 new beads to my website...you can check them out here! Disks

The weekend was fantastic, it just went by wayyyy too fast! I need to take pictures of the many new bracelet beads I have and get them posted here for all to see....with the time change I no longer get home in daylight :( I have to plan better and get up early to take pictures before I leave for work. Here is my newest set that is up on etsy. They are a set of 16 disks....they are made with clear with a ribbon of color around the edges then topped off with bumps of crystal clear for some sparkle...let me know what you think!

The show went really well last night and we had a great time! Thank you to everyone who came out! Hailey was my helper last night and had a wonderful time with the silent auction.....she kept coming back to inform me what "goodies" were there and what the highest bid currently was. lol! She ended up winning a huge stuffed dog (just what we needed...another stuffed animal :)). It was so much fun hanging out with Gwen, Shawna and Diane and really great meeting new friends! I am so glad they talked me into participating!

Crazy little cluster rings!

Here is the bottom of the ring as requested by Kristen. I curled the ends of 16G wire, hammered it flat and bent.....voilla......... what do you think? you know I'm terrible at wire work!


How fun are these crazy little cluster rings!!!! i got the idea from Poppi......putting these guys together was a little nerve racking, but in the process I came up with a great idea!!! I will be making a "minor" adjustment to my tiny beads and hopefully will have them put together soon to share with you all!! What do you think of my cluster rings???

I am frantically trying to get ready for two shows I have this week! Here is the latest group of large hole beads....also there is a set of thick disks that are going up on etsy. I am off to the torch again this morning, so check back for more beads! Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!

New Beads

I have been working on my large hole beads for some upcoming shows!!! I also included a picture of one of my finished bracelets (my personal favorite)!!! For my etsy shop I have made a couple of sets of beads. These have a 3/32 hole and are perfect for your jewelry making projects....the sets of 6 are great if you want to make a bracelet or necklace with matching earrings!!! Hope you guys enjoy !

New Website

Well, as if I did not have enough to do already!!! I started another website and it is up and running!!!
I sell lots of large hole beads and bracelets to the ladies at work and was trying to come up with a way that they could more readily get to my beads (rather than trying to track me down at work....not to mention I am hauling in all my beads everyday). I decided to put all my Sassy Beads and accessories into a website where they could do all their one stop shopping (rather than me loading up my etsy store with the add a bead stuff). I am still going to list beads on etsy, but only bead sets, not so much the large hole beads. I hope you guys like the site and feel free to give me some feedback...it is a work in progress!
