Picture Glitch Fixed!!!

Whew Hew!!! They fixed the picture glitch! Here are the goodies I worked on this morning! I am thinking about pulling out my electroforming kit and adding some copper to my beads! Let me know what you think. It is a very cool effect mixing the metal with the glass. I wonder if I remember how to work that....hmmm

New Beads

Alright....Blogspot is irritating me right now. It won't let me upload my pictures and I have 8...yes 8 new bead sets!!! I was a busy beader today and want to show you guys my latest beads!! (and also give you another opportunity to win those rings HA HA....not that some of you need a new post in order to feel the need to leave a comment :) )
UUhhgg it's ticking me off.....I don't like it when I can't upload my pictures. :( Will try again a little later....hopefully they will have fixed the problem

Inspired by Others

I absolutely love my newest creations and it was a joint effort in creating these guys!! Kristen of mjmjewelrydesigns and Ann Marie said they wanted spirals....and since I try my best to always make them happy...I started working on spirals. I was not happy with their "loop" and so began some research. Kerry of Kabs Concepts has some really cool earrings with the spirals coming off the side of a bead. After brainstorming with Kristen...she suggested using my disks instead of a bead (are ya still following??)....anyways....after a little trial and error, here is what I came up with!!! I am soo excited about how they turned out! They remind me of little jelly fish! Let me know what you think!! I would love some feedback on these :)

Something Different

Alright Kristen and Ann Marie...let me know what you think. I am still trying to perfect the loops. The longest one is approx. 1 3/4 inches long!!

Disk-O-Rama

Oh my goodness, I had soooo much fun making disks last night that I think I got carried away! I love these large sets of disks....each set is made up of pairs, and the colors are just beautiful! Be sure to let me know what you think!!

Yay!! New Beads

Yay!!! New beads listed in my shop!! I had a productive torch session last night and listed some really nice new beads. I made a few bigger sets so that there was a little more variety in the shop! My dear friend Kristen of mjmjewelrydesigns makes the most beautiful and unique jewelry....well, this amazing bracelet arrived in my mailbox today! Isn't it beautiful!!! She was kind enough to make this piece for me out of my boro rings and I am just so thrilled to have such a well made treasure!!!

Back to Business

Well....I have been trying to upload some pictures but Blogger must be having some problems. We are back from beautiful Costa Rica and had a wonderful time!! I have listed beads up on etsy and am officially Back in Business!!!! Yeah! It's good to be home and great to be back at my torch!

Hopefully Blogger will get their glitch worked out and I will post some pics :) I look forward to catching up with everyone, have a great Monday!!!

On Vacation!

I am off to beautiful Costa Rica and will be back the weekend of June 14th! All beads purchased on June 6 through June 15 will be sent out on Monday June 16th! Hope you have a wonderful week and I promise to have more beads up as soon as I get back!!

Stormy Weather

Well yesterday we had CRAZY storms pass through!! The emergency backup generator even went out at the hospital...it was truly a BLACK-OUT when the lights went out! Very scary!!! Needless to say when I got home yesterday evening there was no power, therefor no beads were made :( I did make a few the night before and will have to get pictures up soon. I was working on a new shape that Kristen suggested and let me just say...I need to work on it! LOL!! Kristen I will send you pics of what I made, but will not post them here!!! yes...THAT bad :)

More Beads

I had a small window last night to make some beads and here is what I created! I love these colors :) All but one are already gone...you guys are quick! My dear friend Kristen of MJM Jewelry Designs who makes the most FANTASTIC jewelry was kind enough to suggest a new shape so I will be working on that tonight!!! New Beads

Well, I got some torch time in this morning and I am thrilled with the results! Here are 2 sets of matching pairs. They would be great as earrings!! They are a beautiful mix of colors that are magnified under crystal clear.




























I also made 2 focals with a crackle technique. I love the effect that they have! These beads are BIG!































Here is a set of 7 in some of my favorite colors! I love the yellow in this focal..it has an iridescent sort of surface that has blues and purples...really beautiful glass!
