Barnacles!

I have been having a great time with different layering effects....these beads have a lot going on...they remind me of barnacles! I love the different colors too....fun, fun...what do ya think?









Oh...and here were my two helpers today! This is a Steeler's household and I do believe these two have officially declared war here with that scarf! Did I mention that Hailey will be 12 this Friday??? She's growing up so fast!

YAY!!

I picked up my baby from the airport yesterday!!! I'm so excited to have her back....she has been gone since June 14 spending the summer with grandparents and cousins. It has been a crazy busy week this week, which is why I have been absent....sorry!! I promise to have bead updates soon...well as soon as I get my butt to the torch anyway. I am also looking at the calendar for my next bead show. But for now, I'm hanging out with my little one...we have LOTS to catch up on and 2 fun and exciting weekends coming up! Her 12th birthday is next weekend!!! and we are having a girls only weekend in New York the weekend after that!!!
Today we are "back to school" shopping and she has informed me that there is a need for the addition of "bright orange" to her already colorful bedroom....hmmmm sounds perfect! Hailey has a a great eye for fun and funky design...I believe her words were "I need a pop color, mom"...she has the same addiction to HGTV that her mother does :)

It was a fast and furious 4 hours, but we had a great time!
The Bead Show yesterday was a huge success...I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. Thanks to all for coming out and I look forward to the next event!

I will be organizing my inventory today and reopening my etsy shop later today! I hope your having a great weekend!!! New goodies up hopefully tomorrow!
